Borrowing from the famous 1931 song by Florence Reece, written during the violent conflict between mine workers and owners in Harlan County, Kentucky, “Which Side Are You On?” is intended to be a provocation that will serve as a moral compass for the viewer. It is a reminder that one is always taking a side, be it through action or inaction.
